Help build a home for endurance stories. Founding Athletes are the first 1,000 eligible athletes approved by the Palena team.

1000 places remain. Places are awarded in approval order, not sign-up order.
How to become a Founding Athlete
- Complete your profile: name, username, location, bio and primary sport.
- Add a profile photo (not a generated avatar).
- Publish at least one public race report or story.
- Publish at least one public race or gear review.
- The Palena team reviews and approves eligible athletes while places remain.
Drafts, private posts and coach or cause reviews do not qualify. Eligibility does not guarantee approval or reserve a place. Your numbered badge appears on your profile and in the athlete directory after approval.
